Fingers crossed ACAS is now working at 100%. A VERY BIG THANK YOU to Long Rider, who has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to get ACAS up and running again. Apparently the server needed a complete rebuild, among many of the problems requiring Long Rider's attention. On behalf of our cowboy and cowgirl family, THANK YOU again!
To all my fellow cowboys and cowgirls, indians, squaws, sheriffs, deputies, bounty hunters, ne’r-do-wells, bank robbers, horse thieves, saloon girls, card cheats, barmen, and all y’all, Merry Christmas! It's been a fantastic year, and I'm so grateful for the wild west community we've built. Let's enjoy the holiday break, recharge, and get ready for an even better year ahead in 2026!
Again, I wish you and your loved ones a safe, relaxing and happy Christmas and New Year, you've earned it! I look forward to seeing you all on the range, and may all your bangs go clang in the new year!

News from New South Wales:
The NSW Single Action and Wild Bunch State Titles will be combined in 2026 and held over 3 - 7 June. This is due to Nationals moving to South Australia in October 2026.
News from Queensland:
The Dalby Easter Shoot (The Changing of the Guard) entry is now available. You have the choice to enter online, or print out the entry form and send it in. If you have the technology, the preference is for you to use the online version.
We have a new cowboy action club (at least to me) in Bowen, Qld, the Bowen Hole In The Wall Gang. They shoot on the 1st Sunday of the month. You can contact One Cold Charlie or Nick Thirteen for more information. The Bowen Hole In The Wall Gang are also holding a 3-day competition "Shoot-out at Mt Gordon on the 28-30 August 2025. Would be great to see y'all get out there and show support for a great new shoot added to the calendar!
News from South Australia:
You should have all received an emailed Christmas message from our NDC Violet Rose attaching, amongst other things, a printable calendar with all the competitions in it. Hopefully, between the two of us, we should be able to keep everyone updated! Printable Yearly Calendar

Victoria is the first cab off the rank in 2026, with their annual South West Muster, held in Woolsthorpe, near Warnambool. Great shoot! Get your entries in early. Flier and Entry are available below in the calendar, or under the Comps shingle.
